Writing and playwright
I have been writing since I was 7 years old. Words have always played a major part in my life as an artist.

Some of my work has earned prices and acknowledgments such as:
2024 Araucanía in 100 words: micro-story selected among 7.000 participants. Also selected for the best 100 microstories book to be launched on 2024.
2017 Stella Corvalán Award (second prize): short story "Nailed in the Clouds".
2016 - 2022 Ministry of Culture Book Grant: earned twice with short story compiled book "Stories in D Minor" and the children´s novel "Mucali and the Secret Mirror".
2020 Ministry of Culture Drama Writing Grant: with the children theatre play "Mucali and the Secret Mirror".
2024 Ministry of Culture Drama Writing Grant: with the theatre play “Orange Valley”.
UN PONCHO EN EL ALMA
A "PONCHO" ON THE SOUL
A southern storm is a serious matter. There is no other choice: we must trust that the roofs do not fly away, that the trees do not falter, that the rains do not wash everything away. The firewood is prepared, the gutter is cleaned, the mate is heated, the cat is brought into the bed . Surely the power will be cut off and with it, goodbye water pump. Things that city people do not know anything of used to the permanent switch. That's why people here in the south are friendlier: you need a poncho on your soul to survive so many clouds.
Mucalí and the Secret Mirror takes place in a dystopian world. Technology and the oppression of all diversity have created an authoritarian society where contact with nature and the inner world are repressed in favor of a homogeneous and "happy" life. But the forces of nature are unbreakable and the resurgence of the magical animals that once ruled the earth will bring about a rebellion led by three children willing to return life to its natural course.

Mucalí is a participatory theater play whose outcome is imagined by the audience. Its creation and production were funded by the Performing Arts Fund of the Ministry of Culture of Chile.
It is also a novel written in three books, the first part of which was awarded the Creation grant from the Book Fund of the Ministry of Culture of Chile.
